Scrawlr is building a platform to facilitate innovative forms of communication and interaction within a new digital context, with the goal of making a meaningful impact on an ever-evolving digital landscape. We have multiple products that have soft launched in beta, and are looking to bring on exceptional individuals as we progress towards an initial public release. Compensation
$65k - 83k per annum plus an options grant commensurate with capacity for contribution to the team
Responsibilities
- Work with leadership to understand requirements and scope projects;
- Create architecture, flows, interface designs, and interactive prototypes;
- Create detailed designs and documentation;
- Contribute to our Figma design library;
- Collaborate with developers on technical planning and conduct QA on the latest product builds;
- Conduct usability tests to gather product feedback;
- Understand customers and their needs through market analysis, customer research, and feedback.
Desired Skills or Experience
- At least two (2) years of professional experience as a Product or UX/UI Designer.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing the breadth of your experience and the ability to clearly articulate the design thinking behind your work.
- A deep understanding of best practices in web and mobile design.
- Pride in creating and maintaining excellent design standards.
- A strong proficiency with design and prototyping applications (We use Figma).
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience working and collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic, rapid growth environment.
