Mechanical Designer (Plumbing)

We're working with a well-established multidisciplinary consulting firm in downtown Toronto that is looking to add a Mechanical Designer, who specializes in plumbing, to their growing team.

This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial projects, supporting the design and delivery of plumbing systems within a collaborative MEP environment.

The Role

Prepare and coordinate plumbing design drawings for permit and construction
Support design development, including layouts, risers, and system coordination
Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to maintain project alignment
Assist with shop drawing reviews, RFIs, and construction-phase support
Attend coordination meetings and contribute to project documentation
Support project tracking, timelines, and deliverables across multiple active projects
