Our member is looking for a 306A Licensed Residential & Commercial Service Plumber, to join their team in Mississauga, ON.
Job Title: 306A Licensed Service Plumber
Salary Range: To be determined by employer based on experience
Location: Mississauga, ON
Responsibilities:- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Assemble pipes and fittings using soldering techniques, compression fittings, and other joining methods
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required for plumbing installations
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and electricians, to ensure efficient project completion
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify and resolve issues or potential problems
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
Qualifications:- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with tools and equipment
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a plumber or in a related field
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively
- Basic math skills for measuring, calculating pipe lengths, and determining angles
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting and working in tight spaces
- Experience with welding is a plus
