Transdev Canada is hiring a Full-Time Shop and Fleet Supervisor for our Paramedical / Non-Emergency Medical Transportation division in Calgary.
In 2025, Transdev acquired Calgary based company Aaron Paramedical, a provider of emergency and non-emergency medical services, event support, and patient transport. Aaron Paramedical will continue to operate under the brand name Aaron Paramedical.
As a Shop and Fleet Supervisor with Aaron Paramedical, you will play a critical role in overseeing the readiness, organization, and day-to-day coordination of the division’s vehicles, equipment, supplies, and shop operations. This role combines fleet oversight, equipment and inventory management, project and event coordination, and operational support to help ensure safe, efficient, and reliable service across patient transport and special event operations.
Your Role
- Oversee all fleet vehicles, equipment, medical supplies, and general shop inventory to ensure operational readiness.
- Assist with project coordination in conjunction with management, including researching project details, destinations, and operational requirements.
- Prepare job forms and support the assignment of personnel, equipment, and vehicles to projects, transfers, and special events.
- Monitor stock levels for medical and general supply items and coordinate ordering from approved suppliers as directed.
- Conduct detailed inspections of vehicles, supplies, and inventory, and ensure restocking is completed as required.
- Support special-event preparation by helping coordinate staffing, confirming field staff availability, and issuing operational instructions.
- Assist with the overall maintenance, cleanliness, and readiness of the office, shop, and vehicles, including vehicle washing, interior cleanliness, and refuelling.
- Support last-minute transfers, wheelchair trips, and event-related operational needs during weekdays and weekends.
- Visit client work sites and special events, meet with client representatives, and conduct site or field audits with onsite medical staff.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager and Dispatch team to address urgent operational issues, project needs, and service requirements as they arise.
- Maintain accurate records related to inspections, equipment readiness, inventory, fleet condition, and operational support activities.
- Promote and uphold company health and safety requirements, operational procedures, and service standards.
- Assist with additional duties or projects as required by management.

Your Profile
- Experience in fleet coordination, shop supervision, equipment management, logistics, EMS operations, medical transportation, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience overseeing vehicle and equipment readiness, inspections, cleanliness, stocking, and refuelling.
- Ability to work closely with dispatch and operations teams to support changing service demands in real time.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with management, field teams, clients, and vendors.
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills in a dynamic and operationally sensitive environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in records, inventory, and operational follow-up.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational, scheduling, or reporting systems.
- Valid driver’s licence and a safe driving record.
- Experience in paramedical services, EMS, healthcare operations, medical transportation, or Non-Emergency Medical Transportation is an asset.
- Experience supporting special events, client site visits, or field audits is an asset.
- Incident command or related operational training is an asset.
Your Location
- This is a full-time, on-site position based in Calgary, Alberta.
- Standard working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break.
- This is a supervisor-level role and may require extended hours, weekday or weekend coverage, and support for last-minute operational needs.
- Availability is required during major operational periods and events, including the Calgary Stampede.
- The role includes visiting client sites, special events, and field locations as needed to support operations.
