Your Role in Supporting Our Members:
As a Senior Executive Assistant to the Chief People Officer (CPO), you will serve as a trusted partner to a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, providing high-level administrative, operational, and strategic support. Operating within a dynamic and highly regulated financial services environment, you require sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage competing priorities with precision. You will play a critical role in enabling the effectiveness of the CPO and the broader People & Culture function by ensuring seamless coordination, strong stakeholder management, and operational excellence.
This is a Permanent, Full-time role based at our Vancity Head Office. This role will require you to predominantly work in-office five days a week, with some flexibility to work from home from time to time.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Partnering closely with the Chief People Officer by anticipating needs and proactively managing complex schedules, priorities, and commitments
- Coordinating executive calendars, leadership meetings, and enterprise forums to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and key stakeholders
- Preparing high-quality correspondence, presentations, briefing materials, and reports to support executive and Board-level decision-making
- Acting as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, exercising professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment at all times
- Managing highly sensitive and confidential People & Culture information, including executive talent discussions, labour relations matters, and organizational changes
- Supporting Board and Executive Committee engagement through the coordination of materials, logistics, and follow-up actions
- Coordinating People & Culture initiatives by tracking timelines, deliverables, and action items to ensure timely execution and follow-through
- Organizing leadership meetings, offsites, and team forums by developing agendas, preparing materials, and documenting outcomes and minutes
- Enhancing operational efficiency by maintaining organized documentation systems, managing budgets and expenses, and supporting procurement and vendor coordination
- Building strong relationships across the organization while contributing to a collaborative, responsive, and continuously improving People & Culture team
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- 5-10 years of experience supporting senior executives, preferably within a larger or regulated organization
- Experience supporting C-Suite or executive leadership teams
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools
- Strong experience in calendar management, executive coordination and document preparation
- Experience within financial services or a similarly complex environment

What You’ll Earn:
This role offers a salary range of $69,700 to $82,000 per annum. The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
