Your Role in Supporting Our Members:
As the Product Manager, Deposits and Everyday Banking, you will be accountable for the end‑to‑end product management lifecycle within the Retail Deposits portfolio. You will set product vision and strategy, lead execution across research, design, launch, and optimization, and ensure products deliver strong member value while achieving financial returns. This role is ideal for a strategic and execution‑focused product leader who thrives in collaborative environments and is passionate about improving everyday banking experiences for members.
This is a Full‑Time, Temporary role based at our Vancity head office and will report directly to the Senior Manager, Deposits. While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to be on‑site for events and business demands.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Setting a clear product vision and defining product strategies for deposits and everyday banking products
- Driving execution across the full product lifecycle including research, planning, design, roadmap development, launch, and continuous improvement
- Collaborating with IT Solutions teams to prioritize product roadmaps and guide solutions through delivery
- Partnering with business readiness teams to ensure successful development and release of products and services
- Working closely with Marketing and Communications to develop compelling product positioning and messaging
- Supporting change management activities to enable employee adoption and effective member engagement
- Monitoring and managing product performance to ensure financial return and member satisfaction
- Building deep expertise within the assigned portfolio while remaining adaptable to support other portfolios as needed
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Post‑secondary education or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in product management or product lifecycle management within financial services or a regulated environment
- Demonstrated experience setting product strategy and leading products from concept through launch and optimization
- Strong knowledge of business and financial concepts, member insights, and regulatory considerations
- Advanced planning, coordination, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders and communicate complex ideas clearly

- Experience working within everyday banking or deposit products
- Exposure to digital banking platforms and user experience‑driven product design
- Product management or project management certifications

What You’ll Earn:
This role offers a salary range of $92,700 to $109,000 per annum. The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
