Position Overview
Are you interested in being the next permanent, full-time Infrastructure Administrator at the City of Kamloops? This permanent, full-time position is a hands-on role managing the technology that keeps the City running — servers, storage, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Active Directory, and a growing cloud and hybrid environment. You'll work closely with a team of engineers and admins to keep systems healthy, tackle projects, and help shape where our infrastructure goes next.

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Completion of a Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree or an equivalent degree OR a combination of a diploma in a Computer Science related field AND Infrastructure or Network Certifications (covering data management and security, cloud computing, networking, and/or Microsoft backend platforms) AND 5 years Tier 3 recent experience in a combination of Infrastructure and Network.
- Minimum two years previous experience that includes managing VMWare, Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 Administration.
