Cultural Services Program Leader - Visual Arts
City of Delta is looking for dynamic, creative, and energetic Visual Arts Instructors to teach our recreational arts programs for children, youth and adults. Arts instructors are responsible for the planning and delivering of quality, instructional, and engaging courses in drawing, painting, mixed media, anime, sculpting, textiles and/or photography. Classes are offered Monday through Friday in July and August
If you have the following skills and abilities, this position may be for you:
- Experience teaching drawing, painting, mixed media art, anime, textiles, sculpting
- Formal training is an asset but not required; having a love of art and want to transfer that to students they teach is a must
- Able to work independently
- Programs are offered in Tsawwassen, Ladner, and/or North Delta
