Role Summary:
The Employer Account Consultant builds and nurtures relationships with employers across the region to effectively place Participants in employment through networking, job development, and collaborating with local teams to understand and meet needs. This role requires independent research into local labour markets and identification of growth and relationship development opportunities, including partnerships and events.

Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel between Belleville and Bath/Loyalist Township locations as required.
Education:
- Completed post-secondary education in relevant field from a recognized Canadian Institute, or its equivalent
- Appropriate certifications and/or training relevant to the field
Experience:
- Two years related experience in employment services, staffing, or workforce development
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management
Required Skills:
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to proactively establish and sustain effective stakeholder relationships through networking and building rapport.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work unsupervised in challenging environments.
- Proficiency in data entry and documentation tools (e.g., CRM systems, Excel).
- Ability to travel regularly within the region to meet with employers and attend events.
- Proven experience working within a high-performance driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines.
- Well-developed ability to undertake research and to prepare, collate and organize data.
- Must be able to provide a clear Enhanced Police Check (Judicial Matters and Criminal Records Check).
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of labour market trends and workforce development practices.
- Familiarity with local economic development initiatives.
- Knowledge of disabling conditions and accommodations, barriers to employment, and WSIB and/or ODSP programs.
- Understanding of careers and occupations, various job requirements, job search techniques, career planning/counselling, and vocational rehabilitation.
- Knowledge of community and government resources available.
- Knowledge of local, regional, and provincial labour markets.
- Ethical decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employers across the region through in-person visits, events, and outreach initiatives.
- Develop a network of employers and community organisations to ensure Participants move towards suitable, sustainable employment outcomes.
- Manage employer accounts with a focus on long-term relationship building and satisfaction.
- Ensure active marketing of Participants to achieve personal and team key performance metrics (KPIs).
- Create a pipeline to a number of employers across various sectors within the catchment for jobseekers enrolled in our services.
- Represent the organization at job fairs, networking events, and employer meetings to promote services and partnerships.
- Analyze labour market trends and employment data to identify opportunities for employer engagement.
- Ensure accurate data entry, documentation, and reporting to maintain data integrity.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align employer needs with available talent and services.
- Consistently demonstrate high level communication skills and quality customer service when liaising with teams and leaders, employers, Participants, external and internal stakeholders.
- Consistently demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to meet and adjust to changing management and operational needs.
- Actively develop working relationships that demonstrate equity and respect of different cultural perspectives and diversity.
- Positively contribute to, facilitate, and support collaborative team dynamics, consistently representing Agilec’s organizational values.

Schedule: Hours are flexible within location-specific hours of operation. Extended hours may be required. Regular travel is necessary for this role; access to a vehicle and appropriate license and insurance are required.
