The Host Family Coordinator is responsible to promote, recruit, coordinate, monitor and maintain Host Family residential and respite services within their designated geographical or case management assignment. The Host Family Coordinator is responsible to recruit and retain Home Provider family locations. The Host Family Coordinator is responsible to facilitate and support matches between Homesharers (adults/children) and approved Home Provider families. Host Family Coordinators seek to promote Karis Disability Services’ service principles in the lives of people supported. Host Family Coordinators ensure service provision follows Karis Disability Services policies and procedures; Ministry legislation and Ministry Host Family Services Directives. They work in collaboration with relevant community partners in support of the needs and goals of Homesharers and Home Providers.
The Program Administrative Clerk provides administrative support to the designated locations, assisting the Program Managers (PM) and Program Coordinators (PC) with clerical and administrative duties. They may provide administrative support to multiple locations in an assigned community. They will ensure filing and maintenance of confidential program files are completed with a high level of discretion. The Program Administrative Clerk will manage their time effectively to ensure deadlines, including those from government partners are met. They will communicate with people within and outside of Karis Disability Services to provide information about the organization.
