Rimkus is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Global Energy Services team. This role provides a unique opportunity to work on complex engineering investigations and consulting projects worldwide, delivering expert solutions in the energy sector.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and perform advanced engineering analyses and investigations related to energy systems, equipment failures, and accident reconstructions.
- Manage multiple high-profile projects from inception to completion, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to project budgets and schedules.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and present expert opinions to clients, legal counsel, and at depositions or trials as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, scientists, and legal professionals to develop innovative solutions.
- Maintain and expand client relationships in the global energy sector.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure required.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong background in energy services or related industries.
- Extensive experience in failure analysis, root cause investigation, and forensic engineering is preferred.
- Strong technical writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage projects efficiently, work independently, and lead technical teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required (up to 25%).
Additional Skills and Attributes:
- Experience working in global or multicultural environments.
- Relevant certifications such as F.E., ACTAR, or specialized energy sector certifications are a plus.
- Proficient with engineering analysis software and tools.
