POSITION
Vertus Group, a division of Jonas Software, is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our growing Finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented AP professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, where they can take ownership for processes and be rewarded for performance.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process vendor invoices and prepare payments for multiple business units
- Manage the accounts payable inbox, respond to vendor inquiries, and liaise with vendors to ensure timely payments, including recurring monthly payments such as rent and utilities
- Reconcile corporate credit cards and coordinate employee expense reimbursements
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth and timely payment processing
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records and support day-to-day financial operations
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree or college diploma with a focus on business and finance or equivalent experience.
- Experience processing accounts payable invoices, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage high-volume workloads with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational, time management, multitasking, and priority-setting skills
- Strong team player with a customer-focused mindset and working knowledge of Excel
- Experience working with multiple entities or business units is considered an asset
