Role Description

This is a full-time role based in Dartmouth. The Traffic Control Person will be responsible for assisting the flow of vehicles and pedestrians around work zones to ensure safety and compliance with traffic regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing traffic control plans, setting up and removing traffic cones and signage, directing traffic, and collaborating with team members to address operational challenges effectively.

Qualifications

Knowledge and experience in Traffic Control and Road Traffic management
Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear directions and collaborate with a diverse team
Prior experience in road safety or construction projects is an asset
Valid Traffic Control Personnel certification (or willingness to obtain) is required
Ability to adapt to dynamic, outdoor work environments
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
