About the Role: At MediSystem, the Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and driving the execution of business projects from conception to completion, while ensuring the project stays with specified scope, budget and timelines. The successful candidate will lead the project life cycle, including planning, stakeholder engagement, as creation and implementation of project plans together with the project team. Key Responsibilities: Lead the initiation and execution of projects, defining their scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure projects are executed efficiently Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including but not limited to project charter, RACI, and project plans, and progress reporting Proactively identify and mitigate risks impacting project cost, schedule, scope, or completion of milestones Provide effective project control and oversight Coordinate project activities with the project team and other stakeholders as required Collaborate and motivate project team to achieve project goals Lead project coordination meetings, facilitation communication and collaboration across teams Continuously monitor project health and implement contingency measures when needed Facilitate decision-making processes to address project challenges and ensure successful outcomes Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned, best practices, and areas for improvement Support coordination of business activities as required Qualifications and Requirements: Highly organized strategic thinker with positive attitude and strong work ethic that is able to prioritize multiple projects effectively Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and best practices Proficient in project management software and tools, with a focus on the Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Project Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project management with a track record of managing multi-year and complex projects PMP Certification Bachelors' Degree or equivalent preferred Employment Type: Full time Type of Role: Regular Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. recognizes Canada's diversity as a source of national pride and strength.
