Executive Assistant - Venture Capital (AgTech Focus)

Role Overview:

We’re hiring a contract Executive Assistant to support our Managing Partner (~50%) and CTO (~20%), with remaining time assisting the Director of Operations and investment team as needed. This is a fully remote role with flexible hours; consistent overlap with US/Canada/Mexico time zones is required. The scope includes both professional and light personal support for the Managing Partner. High discretion and confidentiality are mandatory.

What You'll Do:

· Calendar & Coordination: Own complex scheduling across multiple time zones; proactively prioritize, confirm, and deconflict meetings.

· Correspondence & Prep: Draft/organize email messages; prepare briefs, agendas, and follow-ups.

· Travel & Logistics: Book and revise domestic/international travel (air/hotel/ground); anticipate changes and contingencies.

· Expenses & Admin: Process receipts and expense reports in Expensify; track reimbursements and vendor details.

· Executive Support (MP/CTO): Keep both leaders on track with materials, reminders, and next steps; handle light personal admin for the Managing Partner (appointments, reservations, personal calendars).

· Team Support: Coordinate meetings, maintain action trackers, assist with docs, and jump in on ad-hoc admin projects for the rest of the team.

· Tools: Work daily in Microsoft 365—Outlook (email/calendar) and Teams (comms/meetings), Zoom, Evernote, LLMs, plus standard remote-work apps.

What We're Looking For:

· 5-15 years of EA (or similar) experience supporting senior leaders.

· Mastery of calendar triage, scheduling, and follow-through in fast-changing environments.

· Clear, professional written and verbal communication.

· Proven discretion and confidentiality with sensitive professional and personal information.

· Proficiency with Outlook, Zoom, LLMs, Teams and Expensify/Dext (or similar expense tools).

· Comfortable operating fully remote with flexible hours and reliable overlap in US/Canada/Mexico time zones.

Bonus Points For:

· Experience in agriculture, venture capital, startups, or technology environments.

· Light project coordination skills (action logs, document prep, simple trackers).

· Marketing including social media management (LinkedIn)

· Experience handling last-minute travel changes and multi-time-zone execs.

· Polished client/partner communications and a calm, service-oriented style.
