We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Draftsperson / Architectural Technologist? to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Produce and oversee technical design and contract documents in compliance with the Owner’s Statement of Requirements, in collaboration with project teams.
Work with senior team members to ensure that designs and deliverables conform to technical guidelines, building codes, and applicable regulations.
Provide technical design solutions for facility construction, including both interior and exterior assemblies.
Coordinate internal production teams.
Coordinate with project sub-consultants.
Provide technical mentoring and leadership to less experienced staff.
Assist with contract administration, including site visits and working with construction contractors.

Qualifications:

Education: College diploma or apprentice training 2 years minimum

Degree or diploma in architectural and building technology from an accredited institution.
5+ years of experience working as an Architectural Technologist for an architectural consulting firm, with experience in multi-unit residential, commercial, institutional, healthcare, or industrial project types.
Strong product knowledge and demonstrated ability to detail architectural building systems.
Construction site experience.
Proficiency with Revit software is required, with experience in detailed model creation, coordinated construction documentation, and developing and managing custom Revit families to support project-specific needs.
Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of BIM principles and workflows, experience in a Microsoft 365 environment, construction site experience, and proficiency with Bluebeam.
