Hays Specialist Recruitment is partnering with a well‑established security and technology solutions organization to hire a Supply Chain Administrator for a 6 month contract. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a busy, dynamic environment and thrives in supporting procurement, order management, and administrative operations. You’ll be joining a friendly, collaborative, high‑energy team where organization, accuracy, and strong communication skills are key.

Key Responsibilities

Confirm, track, and communicate material orders
Perform purchase order entry and support procurement administration (returns, reporting, vendor follow‑ups)
Complete credit card reconciliation and assist with resolving invoice issues
Review operational reports and take action where needed
Provide data‑entry support during an upcoming ERP transition
Answer phones and support internal teams with ad‑hoc administrative tasks
Book lift rentals, training, and other operational services
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely processing of supply‑chain activities
Support the Supply Chain Manager and Supervisor with day‑to‑day administrative functions

What You Need to Succeed

1–2 years of administrative or supply chain support experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)
Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and switch priorities quickly
Positive, proactive attitude and strong communication skills
Organized, reliable, and comfortable managing a high workload
Customer‑service mindset and strong follow‑through
