We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage therapy services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent customer service skills, and effective communication abilities to ensure a positive client experience and foster long-term relationships.

Responsibilities

Perform professional massage therapy treatments tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic massage techniques.
Conduct client assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and discuss goals and expectations.
Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including treatment notes and progress reports.
Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend follow-up treatments or referrals when necessary.
Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients by adhering to sanitation and safety protocols.
Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and practice productivity.
Stay updated on the latest massage therapy techniques, industry standards, and health regulations through ongoing education.

Requirements

Valid license as a Registered Massage Therapist in accordance with CMTO
Knowledge of medical terminology related to health conditions treated through massage therapy.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and trusting environment for clients.
Excellent communication skills to effectively explain treatment procedures and address client concerns.
Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided as needed.
