Park Shore BMW located in the North Shore Automall is looking for a well qualified automotive mechanic to join its service team. We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and repair various vehicle issues efficiently. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced mechanics to work in a professional environment that values technical expertise, customer service, and continuous learning. The position involves working with a variety of tools and equipment to ensure vehicles are serviced to the highest standards, contributing to customer satisfaction and safety.

Duties

Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
Use hand tools, power tools, and schematics to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively
Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures, including heavy lifting and working with heavy machinery
Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used
Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
Assist in vehicle inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems

Experience

Proven dealership experience or mechanic experience is highly preferred
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in automotive repair
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts replacement
