Park Shore BMW located in the North Shore Automall is looking for a well qualified automotive mechanic to join its service team. We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and repair various vehicle issues efficiently. Duties
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Use hand tools, power tools, and schematics to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively
- Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures, including heavy lifting and working with heavy machinery
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
- Assist in vehicle inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or mechanic experience is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in automotive repair
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts replacement
