Our team is currently building the next generation of the platform, and we are offering a hands-on internship opportunity for students or new developers who want real product-building experience in a startup environment.

Role Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer Intern to help us convert our current website into a fully functional mobile application. This is a 4-month, unpaid, on-site/remote hybrid internship designed to provide meaningful project experience, mentorship, and exposure to full-stack product development.

In this role, you will:

Work with the founding team to transform TheAcquist.com into a mobile app (iOS/Android or cross-platform).
Learn and apply web-to-app conversion frameworks (React Native, Flutter, Capacitor, etc. — experience not required).
Collaborate on UI/UX improvements and user flows.
Participate in testing, debugging, and iterative feature releases.
Gain exposure to startup product development, version control, and agile workflows.

This internship is ideal for someone who wants to build real-world portfolio projects and gain experience shipping a live product.

Qualifications

No prior professional experience is required. We welcome students, self-taught developers, or career-transition candidates who are eager to learn.

Preferred skills (not all required):

Basic understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
Familiarity with React, React Native, Flutter, or similar frameworks
Willingness to learn mobile development
Curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and strong motivation
Ability to work collaboratively in a small, fast-moving team

Type: Unpaid internship (educational/training-focused)

Compensation: No salary; potential reference letter, mentorship, and real product portfolio experience

There is no expectation of employment at the end of the internship. However, high-performing interns may be considered for future paid roles as the company grows.
