We help companies connect with real, verified talent around the world through a simple and intelligent search experience. Our team is currently building the next generation of the platform, and we are offering a hands-on internship opportunity for students or new developers who want real product-building experience in a startup environment.
Role Description We are looking for a Software Engineer Intern to help us convert our current website into a fully functional mobile application. This is a 4-month, unpaid, on-site/remote hybrid internship designed to provide meaningful project experience, mentorship, and exposure to full-stack product development.
In this role, you will:
- Work with the founding team to transform TheAcquist.com into a mobile app (iOS/Android or cross-platform).
- Learn and apply web-to-app conversion frameworks (React Native, Flutter, Capacitor, etc. — experience not required).
- Collaborate on UI/UX improvements and user flows.
- Participate in testing, debugging, and iterative feature releases.
- Gain exposure to startup product development, version control, and agile workflows.
This internship is ideal for someone who wants to build real-world portfolio projects and gain experience shipping a live product.
Qualifications No prior professional experience is required. We welcome students, self-taught developers, or career-transition candidates who are eager to learn.
Preferred skills (not all required):
- Basic understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
- Familiarity with React, React Native, Flutter, or similar frameworks
- Willingness to learn mobile development
- Curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and strong motivation
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small, fast-moving team
