ABOUT WEEKEND HOCKEY

Weekend Hockey Tournaments delivers professionally organized, high-energy hockey events designed for players, families, and fans who love the game. We host youth and adult events across North America, bringing together teams of all levels for a fun, fast-paced weekend of hockey. We run over 80 events a year and are rapidly growing in the market. We are looking for a new or experienced and enthusiastic individual to join the team.

DUTIES Assisting with planning and the execution of events.
Identify the event's requirements and expectations for each event.
Assist with managing all event set-up and follow-up processes.
Assess an event’s overall success and submit findings.
Oversee inventory, materials, and logistical preparation
Maintain accuracy of information across internal and public platforms.
Assist with travel or accommodation coordination.

QUALIFICATIONS Experience working in sports tournaments, events, or large-scale logistics
Post secondary education in Sport Management or other related fields
Understanding of schedules, divisions, rosters, and team communications
Managing checklists, tracking deadlines, organizing documents
Communication skills - dealing with coaches, parents, teams and arenas
Having played hockey is considered an asset
