ABOUT WEEKEND HOCKEY
Weekend Hockey Tournaments delivers professionally organized, high-energy hockey events designed for players, families, and fans who love the game. We host youth and adult events across North America, bringing together teams of all levels for a fun, fast-paced weekend of hockey. We run over 80 events a year and are rapidly growing in the market. We are looking for a new or experienced and enthusiastic individual to join the team.
- DUTIES Assisting with planning and the execution of events.
- Identify the event's requirements and expectations for each event.
- Assist with managing all event set-up and follow-up processes.
- Assess an event’s overall success and submit findings.
- Oversee inventory, materials, and logistical preparation
- Maintain accuracy of information across internal and public platforms.
- Assist with travel or accommodation coordination.
- QUALIFICATIONS Experience working in sports tournaments, events, or large-scale logistics
- Post secondary education in Sport Management or other related fields
- Understanding of schedules, divisions, rosters, and team communications
- Managing checklists, tracking deadlines, organizing documents
- Communication skills - dealing with coaches, parents, teams and arenas
- Having played hockey is considered an asset
