Responsibilities

Ability to lead the HVAC installation on new construction school projects from the early stages through to completion.
Be able to coordinate crews and subcontractors, interpreting drawings and specifications, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring projects stay on schedule.

Qualifications

15+ years experience in commercial HVAC or sheet metal installation
Journeyperson Sheet Metal Certification with Red Seal or Equivalent
Extensive foreman or supervisory experience managing crews and subcontractors
Proven experience delivering projects across large-scale commercial settings
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and specifications
Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and handle heavy materials
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites

Supervisory Skills

Lead and install commercial HVAC duct systems and ventilation components
Coordinate and oversee multiple subcontractors and installation crews
Interpret blueprints and project plans to ensure accurate and efficient installations
Ensure all installations meet industry standards, safety requirements, and project specifications
Maintain high standards of site safety, organization, and quality control
Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors
Support the development and mentoring of younger tradespeople on site
