Job Description
As a Workforce Coordination Specialist at FLINT, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient utilization of labour resources through effective workforce planning and coordination. You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as estimating, scheduling, operations, and recruitment teams, to optimize workforce efficiency and enhance internal and external customer service.
What would you be doing?
- Support resource allocation for projects and events, mitigating labor pressures and improving service delivery.
- Monitor and forecast workforce needs to ensure labor requirements are met effectively.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess labor needs and facilitate the utilization of existing and new resources.
- Coordinate workforce transfers and placements, ensuring alignment with project needs and individual skills.
- Prepare and present workforce metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify gaps in workforce needs and recommend strategies to maintain a skilled and available labor pool.

Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, multi-task effectively, and apply organizational and analytical skills.
- Professional demeanor under pressure with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong business acumen with 3+ years of experience recruiting, and 2+ years' experience in workforce coordination. Knowledge of industry practices is an asset.
- Strong initiative, self-direction, detail-orientated, capable of building strong relationships while working independently, and ability to identify and address gaps opportunities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint) and Adobe Pro for efficient documentation management.
- Proficient in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
