Job Summary:
The Junior Architect will work under the guidance of a Senior Architect, and will be responsible for assisting with various aspects of architectural design, drafting, and project management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in architecture, as well as some professional experience in a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development of architectural designs and plans
- Create detailed drawings and models using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Conduct research on building materials, codes, and regulations
- Collaborate with project team members to ensure project success
- Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Participate in site visits and inspections
- Review and evaluate building designs for compliance with codes, standards, and specifications
- Assist with project documentation and management
- Contribute to the development of presentations and proposals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other CAD software
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
