We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in North Bethesda, Maryland. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in supporting recruitment activities and HR operations, ensuring the seamless management of hiring processes and employee relations. This role is ideal for professionals with a passion for recruitment and human resources, who thrive in dynamic environments.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate recruitment activities, including sourcing candidates and conducting resume screenings.
• Facilitate phone interviews and pre-screening processes to identify applicants with relevant experience.
• Support full-cycle recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews and maintaining clear communication with candidates.
• Assist with onboarding new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation and processes are completed.
• Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee records and streamline recruitment workflows.
• Conduct background checks and verify employment eligibility for prospective hires.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
• Address employee relations inquiries by providing guidance and ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Monitor and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in human resources and recruitment.
• Proven experience in human resources or recruitment, with a focus on full-cycle recruiting.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and other human resources software.
• Strong understanding of recruitment techniques, including sourcing and applicant screening.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to conduct phone screens and interviews professionally and effectively.
• Familiarity with onboarding processes and employee relations.
• Knowledge of employment verification procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and candidates.
