Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to oversee all projects and initiatives across North America. The Head of North America Projects will be responsible for managing project portfolios, ensuring timely delivery, aligning projects with corporate objectives, and driving operational excellence across the region. This role requires a results-driven professional with exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and oversee all projects and programs in North America, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and implement project strategies, roadmaps, and governance frameworks to drive efficiency and impact.
- Monitor project performance, budgets, and timelines, ensuring delivery within scope and resources.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations, sales, finance, and engineering teams, to ensure project alignment and success.
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing project teams across the region.
- Identify risks and opportunities, providing proactive solutions to mitigate challenges and optimize project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Report regularly to senior management on project progress, key metrics, and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (typically 20+ years) in project management and leadership roles, preferably in North America.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
