Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissionsObtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routesOversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipmentPerform brake adjustmentsPerform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehiclePerform preventive maintenance
