- Work directly with our clients at national, state and local associations to create Calls For Action (CFAs), target lists, mass emails
- Contact legislative offices and verify district mapping and shapefiles
- Track and report metrics - open rates, click throughs, participation rates, etc
- Balance, track and effectively manage multiple projects, competing priorities, requests, and deadlines
- Create, follow and update project management tracking materials
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders to support their advocacy efforts
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure advocacy strategies are integrated into broader programs
- Participate in events, meetings, and other activities
- Report on the progress of advocacy campaigns, evaluating their impact and effectiveness in achieving desired outcomes to both internal and client stakeholders
Salary Range: $68k-$75k/year
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Communications, Public Affairs, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years of experience in advocacy, public affairs, policy, or a related area
- Extremely strong project management skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong understanding of the political process, with experience engaging with stakeholders at various levels
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, both inside our organization and with our clients.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Teams experience.
