Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravelInstall single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositionsRead blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildingsRepair roofing systemsInstruct apprenticesInstall and repair metal roofs using hand and power toolsInstall sheet metal flashingsErect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platformsCut materials using power tools or by handAssemble, erect and install hoisting and rigging equipment
