Read blueprints to determine work requirements Test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of equipmentTroubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators and other electro-mechanical equipmentReplace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators and other componentsWind, assemble and install various types of coilsPerform static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotorsPerform on-site servicing and repairTest and repair or replace faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgearTest repaired motors, transformers, switchgear or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance
