Building Materials Distribution
GTA, Ontario$70K - $100K depending on experience,

Our client has a proven track record in building materials distribution and is expanding a new location across the GTA region.
We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative who will be a key contributor to company growth, driving business development, territory strategy, and customer relationships.
This role is ideal for a hunter — someone motivated, committed, and genuinely enthusiastic about building long-term partnerships. You will spend most of your time on the field meeting contractors, builders, and vendors, developing new accounts while maintaining strong ties with existing ones.

Responsibilities- Work closely with ownership to execute a sales plan focused on growth, new business, and customer retention.
- Identify and pursue opportunities while maintaining existing accounts.
- Build strong, ongoing relationships through regular in-person visits and responsive follow-up.
- Collaborate with internal teams — including operations, logistics, and procurement — to support coverage and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Share with leadership sales results, customer insights, and territory progress.
- Stay informed on industry trends and market activity.
- Represent the company at client meetings, job sites, and industry or client events as required.
Qualifications- Sales or business development experience in construction, building materials, or distribution is preferred.
- Industry and product knowledge (building materials) considered an asset.
- Proven ability to prospect, develop, and retain accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Highly self-motivated, reliable, and organized.
- Comfortable traveling across the GTA and surrounding area.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
