Tasks
Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirementsMeasure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materialsBuild foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systemsFit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardwareSupervise other workers
Support for newcomers and refugees
Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
Support for youths
Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth
Support for mature workers
Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers
