What This Role is All About
Sales & Business Development
- Strategically manage and grow your client base in the luxury custom homes segment, achieving strong market penetration with minimal service requirements.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline by partnering with internal teams and fostering strong relationships with dealers, custom home builders, architects, and designers.
- Deliver in-person and virtual product consultations, clearly communicating technical features, premium benefits, and Durabuilt’s value offering.
- Plan and execute your territory strategy across monthly, quarterly, and biannual cycles.
- Accurately read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and architectural documents.
- Use digital systems and software to quote, sell, and order products (Salesforce, CX, and related tools).
- Prepare and present quotes, tenders, RFIs, RFQs, and specification acceptance requests.
- Create compliant contract packages and obtain required executive approvals.
- Monitor activity within the architectural and construction community to advance Durabuilt’s brand presence and product visibility.
Customer & Project Support- Develop long-term, mutually beneficial relationships across the luxury sales market.
- Represent Durabuilt at company-sponsored events, trade shows, industry meetings, and professional presentations.
- Maintain and grow a database of prospects, qualified leads, and existing clients.
- Support clients throughout the complete sales cycle, including post-sale communication and installation follow-up.
- Review shop drawings with clients and internal teams, capturing revisions and approvals.
- Participate in project kick-off meetings and complete project close-out walk-throughs, including deficiency documentation and service order processing.
- Provide accurate forecasting and report market insights, obstacles, and progress at weekly sales meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Your Skills & Background- Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- Proven track record in high-end real estate, luxury goods, or custom home sales.
- 3–5 years of outside sales experience with strong B2B consultative selling skills.
- Experience with windows, doors, glazing, or related building materials is an asset.
- Strong capability in blueprint reading, specification interpretation, and technical documentation.
- Skilled in prospecting, business development, and long-term relationship building.
- Experience using CRM systems — Salesforce and Paradigm knowledge is an asset.
- Strong business acumen, critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-initiative.
- High comfort level working in a fast-paced, solution-focused, values-driven environment.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with willingness to travel, including occasional overnight trips.
Working Conditions- Primarily office-based with regular travel (up to 75%) for customer meetings and sales development.
- Use of standard office equipment (laptop, smartphone).
- Light lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Flexible schedule with occasional weekend commitments.
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high expectations — suited for a DRIVER who takes OWNERSHIP.
