Salary : Base between $65,000 and $80,000

Functions :
- Analyze project plans – Read architectural/design drawings, take measurements, calculate angles, areas, and volumes.
- Prepare cost estimates – Determine costs for materials, labor, subcontractors, installation, and delivery; prepare budget proposals.
- Create technical drawings – Use AutoCAD to produce production plans and technical drawings for manufacturing.
- Coordinate with stakeholders – Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, manufacturers, and occasionally clients; negotiate pricing and track requests.
- Manage project costs – Monitor budgets, anticipate expenses, compare supplier bids, and ensure technical feasibility.
- Handle large/multi-unit projects – Prepare estimates and bids for large-scale residential projects (multi-unit buildings, kitchens & bathrooms).
Requirements :
- Work in hybrid settings – Split time between office, home, and project sites as required.
- Production drawing experience
- AutoCAD proficient
- Knowledge of estimating tools
- Microsoft Office expert

Years of experience: 5+ years of experience as an estimator, ideally within construction, cabinetry, or interior finish projects.
