This role is in our business improvement team. This role will make solutions that boost productivity with automation and digital tools for the whole company, from back-office units to plant operations that work 24/7. Solutions include automation, chat bots, mobile apps, external user portals and other solutions primarily based on Power Platform.
It requires involvement throughout the solution’s lifecycle. Daily activities include understanding the business process, documenting solution requirements/scope of work, building solutions, testing solutions, training end-users and peers on solution operation, and post-production monitoring for user adoption. Maintaining and updating solutions is required to meet evolving needs, as well as timely responses to address urgent requests from operations.
Position Responsibilities:
- Create automation flows, develop apps, portals, chatbots, co-pilot
- Build custom calculation subroutines stored in Azure, or other, to be accessible in solutions
- Incorporate commercial AI products within solutions
- Manage datasets in Dataverse or other data warehouses accessible by Power Platform
- Create, monitor, and update data used to support solutions
- Write SQL Queries to access data from within flows/apps/portals
- Perform software performance testing prior to solutions being released to production
- Support ticketing system for a variety of use cases, from quick fixes and permission control requests to more complex tickets
- Maintenance of existing solutions and responding rapidly to requests that ensure continuity of key business operations
- Support creation/pipelines of Development, Testing, and Production environment
- Recommend best practices for solution development and upgrades
- Support security roles creation and management
Qualifications:
- College or university degree in Computer Science or related field/experience
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Customer service orientation, team player, eager to help others
- Strong understanding of data security protocols
- Possess tact and judgement in dealing with stakeholders
- Must be able to respond to tight deadlines during peak periods
- General RPA, App, and portal development – Required
