We’re hiring a Mortgage Data Entry Assistant to support the mortgage team by entering, reviewing, and maintaining large volumes of applicant information. This role ensures all mortgage-related data is accurate, complete, and compliant before underwriting review.
Responsibilities
Enter applicant information (income, employment, identity, property details) into mortgage systems.
Verify accuracy and completeness of documents before submission.
Update records, correct inconsistencies, and track changes.
Coordinate with loan officers and processors to clarify missing or unclear details.
Maintain organized digital files and follow strict data-handling procedures.
Generate basic data reports for teams as required.
Requirements
Fast and accurate typing skills with excellent attention to detail.
Strong understanding of data entry best practices.
Basic knowledge of mortgage processes is a plus.
Proficiency in Excel/Sheets and CRM or LOS systems.
Ability to work independently and manage repetitive tasks.
