Role Overview
The Senior Project Manager will be the primary on-site leader responsible for managing the successful execution of large-scale commercial building projects, typically valued at $50 million or more. This role demands strong leadership in site operations, safety, quality, scheduling, and budget control, while directing a diverse team of site personnel, trades, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, ranging from $1M to $30M
- Managing client relationships, consultants, and subcontractors with professionalism and integrity
- Driving project schedules, budgets, and quality standards with precision and accountability
- Mentoring junior staff and contributing to a collaborative, high-performance team culture
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation across the project lifecycle
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 10 years of commercial construction experience with at least 5 years in a project management capacity
- Demonstrated success managing complex commercial projects with budgets exceeding $50 million
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Capacity to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments involving multiple stakeholders
