Your new role
As Senior Consultant, Product Delivery , you will act as the technical leader and single point of contact for ITS in the Hub strategic initiative. Reporting to the Director, Product Delivery, you’ll oversee and manage all ITS deliverables tied to this priority program. You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure quality execution of technical solutions, manage resources, and contribute to strategic planning and budgeting. This role requires strong leadership, technical oversight, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
What you'll need to succeed
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Health Informatics, or equivalent.
- 5–7 years of experience implementing technical solutions for complex, multi-user systems, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or matrix management role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with proven ability to motivate and guide teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience managing competing priorities.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to influence and drive change.
- Knowledge of SDLC, project management, IT service management, agile development, and product management practices.
- Technical expertise in ETL, data storage, BI architectures, AWS services (S3, Lambda, IAM, Airflow, Glue, EMR), and familiarity with AWS Lake Formation and Redshift.
- Experience with Python, Spark, and BI tools (e.g., Qlik) is an asset.
- Understanding of health informatics is highly desirable.
- Ability to travel occasionally and fluency in English (bilingualism is an asset).
