About the Role
At Loblaw, we take pride in helping Canadians live life well. We’re looking for a Pharmacist who is passionate about elevating the patient experience while delivering exceptional care. You’ll be part of a dynamic Health & Wellness model that includes Pharmacy, Dietitian, Medical, and Optical Services.
This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is responsible for ensuring accurate prescription dispensing, providing clinical counselling, and delivering excellent customer service.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare, dispense and control medications accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain appropriate medication and OTC inventory levels
- Provide proactive counselling to patients, ensuring clinical understanding
- Educate and engage the public through community health initiatives
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to support patient needs
- Manage costs effectively within the pharmacy
- Provide ongoing training and mentorship to technicians, students and colleagues
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy + Class A Pharmacist license (ON)
- Exceptional customer service skills and professionalism
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities
- Demonstrated community engagement or grassroots outreach an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal strengths
- Problem-solving mindset with execution ability
- Experience with KROLL or HealthWatch considered an asset
