Position Summary We are seeking a motivated Core Technician/Geological Assistant to support our exploration team. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in mineral exploration and contribute to fieldwork, core logging, sampling, data management, and geological interpretation.

Key Responsibilities - Assist with geological core teching, RQD, core orientation, sampling, and data entry.
- Maintain and organize geological databases and sample tracking systems.
- Support QA/QC protocols and maintain accurate geological records.
- Prepare and ship samples to analytical laboratories.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and company policies.
- Collaborate with geological staff, drill crews, and support teams.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of exploration workflows.
Qualifications - Diploma or relevant experience work experience as a Core Technician. Geology, or Earth Science; a diploma is considered an asset.
- 0–3 years of relevant geological or exploration experience.
- Strong interest in mineral exploration and fieldwork.
- Comfortable working in remote outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift equipment and samples (up to 50 lbs)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.) an asset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Preference will be given to local candidates or those based in the Winnipeg or Thunder Bay regions.
- Valid driver’s license (G or equivalent) and ability to operate field vehicles.
Work Schedule & Conditions - Rotational schedule (e.g., 21 days on / 14 days off or as determined) with flexibility for a Monday to Friday schedule depending on location of candidate.
- Fieldwork may include walking on uneven terrain, lifting core boxes, and operating in remote areas.
