Job Description:
An Informatica administrator is responsible for working with a global team to implement new etl processes, across multiple Data warehouse. The ability to work on a team, communicate effectively, and provide a liaison relationship between technology and business will be key factors for success.
- Install, upgrade, configure and maintain Informatica components including PowerCenter, Web services, HA grid, Metadata manager, Data Quality, Data Validation, PowerExchange-CDC, Data Analyzer, Data Services on UNIX and Linux servers.
- Proficient in working with LDAP configuration and user management.
- Configuration of Informatica Domain, Nodes
- Configuring Informatica (Repository/Integration/Reporting) Services
- Configuring Grid and High Availability Architecture
- Informatica PowerCenter Version Upgrade
- Health Check of Informatica Servers
- Backup/Restore of Informatica Domain and Repository
- Appling Hotfix/Emergency Bug Fix(EBF) on Informatica Servers
- Installation of PowerCenter Client Tools
- User and group creation, Granting/Revoking access
- Moving Informatica Objects( Mapping /Workflows) from non-production environment to production
- Creating new jobs, scheduling, and troubleshooting jobs in Tivoli
- Supporting Informatica Admin related Activities as part of Change release deployment
- Performing Root Cause Analysis
- Supporting OS patching on Informatica Servers
- OS patching on Informatica Servers
- Workflow and Mapping design
- Informatica Architecture and Design level support for Projects
- Informatica software licensing
- Third-party software licensing
- Informatica Change Approval
- Server( Windows/Linux) Build for Informatica Installation
- Database setup
