Overview
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Implementation Trainer to deliver high-quality product, process, and platform training to end users, administrators, and internal teams. The ideal candidate has deep hands-on expertise with ServiceNow modules, strong communication skills, and proven experience conducting training within enterprise or government environments.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Delivery
Deliver live virtual, in-class, and hybrid training sessions for ServiceNow end-users, admins, developers, and implementation teams.
Develop and facilitate training programs across ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, GRC, etc.).
Conduct hands-on workshops, demos, and scenario-based learning sessions.
Support onboarding of new teams/users by explaining processes, workflows, system features, and best practices.
Content Development
Create training materials including user guides, SOPs, PowerPoints, demo scripts, quick reference sheets, simulations, and LMS modules.
Customize training content based on client requirements, configurations, and custom applications.
Maintain and update documentation in alignment with platform upgrades and releases.
Implementation Support
Collaborate with solution architects, process owners, and developers during implementations.
Translate functional and technical requirements into training content.
Provide post-go-live support, Q&A sessions, and reinforcement training.
Participate in UAT sessions to understand customizations and validate training needs.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
Conduct training needs assessments and readiness evaluations.
Interact with business units to gather training requirements and define learning outcomes.
Provide status reports, feedback loops, and continuous improvement recommendations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of relevant experience in ServiceNow training, implementation, or platform consulting.
Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, workflows, and configuration.
Experience training enterprise clients or government/public sector groups.
Ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Proficiency in developing professional training materials and e-learning content.
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Hands-on experience with at least 2–3 major ServiceNow modules.
ServiceNow certifications (any of the following preferred):
Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
ServiceNow Trainer Certification (preferred but not required)
Additional Requirements
Canadian Federal Reliability Status or Secret Clearance (or ability to be sponsored).
Ability to work in a hybrid model (onsite in Toronto as required).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Experience with government, telecom, financial, or large-scale enterprise clients is an asset.
Nice-to-Have
Experience with LMS platforms (Docebo, Workday, Cornerstone, etc.)
Experience with Agile/Scrum environments.
Ability to conduct both technical and functional training.
Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and service management principles.
