Our client, an international food ingredients company, is look to add an experienced Global Buyer to their team.
As a Global Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing costs, streamlining supplies, and enhancing overall value for the corporation while managing associated risks. This role involves developing and executing global category strategies, leading negotiations, and coordinating strategy execution activities.
About the role
This full-time role involves managing sourcing activities, negotiating contracts, and cultivating supplier relationships to optimize costs and ensure quality and availability of goods. You will get the chance to collaborate with teams globally, supporting the development and implementation of procurement strategies.
Salary Range: US$80-90k (tax free)
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing/Category Management
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop and execute sourcing strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and procurement software systems such as SAP.
- Knowledge of market trends, pricing, and supplier management.
