This role is instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, managing an existing territory and nurturing relationships with key prospects, and enhancing market presence in strategically identified sectors.

Highly self-aware, you know when to contribute strategically and when to shift into focused execution, partnering closely with the VP of Sales to move initiatives forward. Tech-savvy and efficient, you leverage CRM systems, digital tools, and modern applications to work smarter, operate at a high level, and drive measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan to drive year-over-year growth while supporting existing customers.
- Market Expansion: Identify high-potential accounts in strategic segments, introducing new customers, new market verticals, and expanded geographic reach with the goal of scaling internationally.
- Account Management: Strengthen and grow relationships with current customers, increasing share of wallet and identifying opportunities for additional product adoption.
- Negotiation & Contracting: Lead negotiations for quotations and long-term contracts to secure revenue growth and support profitability objectives.
- Collaborative Excellence: Work closely with the VP of Sales and collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to deliver industry-leading solutions.
- CRM & Business Tools: Leverage CRM systems and digital tools to manage customer relationships, optimize workflow, and drive data-informed decision-making.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of outside sales/business development and strategic market expansion experience.
- Strong strategic thinking with a proven ability to drive territory management and deliver results.
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) with a history of effective client engagement.
- Based in Nova Scotia and able to travel to U.S. for tradeshows, training and vendor visits.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Tech-savvy with strong proficiency in CRM systems and digital tools to support high-performance execution.
