Opportunity
Enercare Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Administrator to join our team. If you have a strong attention to detail and need for accuracy, excel in customer service, collaboration, and embrace change, Enercare has an exciting role for you.
Within HR Operations, the HR Administrator provides support to employees, managers, and the HR community with a variety of processes including time and attendance, generic HR mailbox management, knowledge of benefits, payroll processes, and employee programs and services. To achieve this, the HR Administrator must be customer service focused and have the capability to independently find solutions from various HR sources.
Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service to employees, managers, and other stakeholders.
- Manage generic email boxes for time administration and HR administration, and triage enquiries in a timely manner.
- Time administration: input, approve and investigate, support employees and managers with their weekly time administration.
- Support onboarding new hires to various HR programs.
- Guidance and problem solving for HR and People Managers with respect to HR programs.
- General HR administration (i.e., Letters of employment, vacation inquiries, etc.).
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness, efficiency.
- Supporting projects as needed.
- Payroll processing assistance and back-up.
Qualifications
- College or University Degree required in an HR/Payroll related field.
- Knowledge of an HRIS payroll system; Ceridian Dayforce preferable.
- 2+ years of HR/Payroll experience required.
- Union experience is an asset.
- Customer focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Well-developed communication and relationship building skills.
- Computer literacy, including advanced MS Excel skills, and working knowledge of MS Outlook required.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy is maintained.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude; self-starter who can work independently and as a team player.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure service level commitments are met.
- Capable of working well under pressure and understanding business processes possessing sense of urgency
- Support a continuous improvement environment by proactively identifying process change opportunities, making suggestions and being an agent of change.
- Contribute positively to the team through the sharing of knowledge, ideas, and active participation in meetings.
