Henon is a pioneer of automation software providing PE firms and their portfolio companies with a full stack technology suite encompassing Data warehousing, Applications, Modelling and Reporting functions into a single platform.
A Full Stack Developer who can balance between development and QA responsibilities. This role will transition between managing infrastructure, enhancing processes, and actively contributing to both manual and automated testing efforts. You'll play a key part in delivering high-quality, scalable systems, while working closely with developers and other teams.
QA Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing for new features, functionalities, and integrations.
- Automate testing workflows using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Design and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and system stability.
- Ensure software meets the highest quality standards through regular testing and debugging code.
Software Engineering Responsibilities
- Deploy updates and fixes, and provide Level 2 technical support
- Build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience
- Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
- Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
- Develop scripts to automate visualization
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address vulnerabilities
- Establish and maintain monitoring systems to ensure the availability and performance
Compensation Base + Options in addition to salary to be negotiated commensurate with experience.
Role Overview
- Development & Automation: Build and implement new development tools and infrastructure, while automating testing and release pipelines to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with product managers, design, and development teams to ensure that features are designed with quality in mind and meet stakeholder expectations.
- Testing & Debugging: Take ownership of writing and maintaining both manual and automated tests. Ensure thorough validation of new features and functionality.
- Quality Assurance: Define and drive QA processes within the team. Maintain a consistent focus on reducing defects and increasing test coverage.
- Infrastructure & DevOps: Contribute to the automation of builds, deployment, and monitoring processes to ensure faster, error-free releases.
- Cybersecurity: Work with developers to ensure secure coding practices and apply security measures to safeguard applications.
- Project Management & Planning: Participate in planning and project management activities, providing input on timelines, risks, and dependencies.
Important* Please read - Qualifications
- Strong Full Stack Development Experience : Proven track record in building scalable applications (front-end and back-end).
- Expertise in Testing : In-depth experience with both manual and automated QA processes . Familiarity with tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Jest is a plus.
- Machine Learning & Data Knowledge : Understanding of machine learning algorithms and data pipelines. Familiar with Python, Pandas, SQL, and various ML libraries.
- Development Skills :
- Proficient in Python, JavaScript , and frameworks like React , Vue , or Angular .
- Solid experience with Django , Flask , MongoDB , SQL , Redis , and cloud technologies like AWS .
- Security Best Practices : Understanding of security principles and hands-on experience with securing applications and data.
- Experience in Fintech : Previous work in fintech is a strong advantage.
- Communication & Leadership : Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with an ability to collaborate across multiple teams and drive projects to completion.
- Testing & Code Quality : Experience in unit and integration testing , code reviews, and test-driven development (TDD).
- Tooling & Infrastructure : Experience with CI/CD tools, and web servers such as Nginx , Apache , Gunicorn , UWSGI , or Waitress .
