The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Developer Intern to join our core engineering team for a part-time or full-time internship. This is a hands-on role where you will work directly alongside experienced engineers, contributing to the development of our core product features. You will be instrumental in implementing key integrations with external travel services and building relevant user-facing components.
What You’ll Do
As a key member of our small team, you will focus on core software engineering tasks:
- Feature Development: I mplement new travel service integrations and relevant user-facing components.
- Engineering Lifecycle: Participate actively in the full software development lifecycle—from writing initial code and reviewing specifications to testing and deployment.
- Debugging & Testing: Collaborate on identifying, debugging, and resolving software defects to ensure application stability and reliability.
- API Integration: Assist in consuming and integrating external APIs for necessary travel-related data services.
- Code Quality: Contribute to maintaining a clean, well-tested, and documented codebase.
What We’re Looking For (Required Qualifications)
- Academic: Currently pursuing a post-graduate program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Fundamentals: A strong grasp of computer science principles, including Data Structures and Algorithms
- Core Technology: Proven professional or project experience with JavaScript/TypeScript .
- Web Knowledge: Understanding of how to build or interact with REST APIs .
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills and a dedicated, collaborative approach to learning and problem-solving.
